Character / Performance Tone : The Civilian is proud of her cultural heritage and eager to share it with spectators. She is not defiant, but she wants newcomers to feel a level of humility and responsibility in being welcomed to this new world.
The Civilian speaks a native language / dialect that developed within her society. She therefore speaks with an accent that shouldn’t sound “familiar” to audiences (think Icelandic accent for instance).
